Moves For Three City Old Boys

Three former Coventry City former players have moved clubs today.

James Sterry, who was on loan at City from Newcastle United has been loaned to Crewe Alexandra for the rest of the season.

Sterry made 20 appearances for City and has appeared once for Newcastle's first team in a Carabao Cup defeat to Nottingham Forest and three appearances in the Checkatrade Trophy.

Former Coventry City striker Simeon Jackson has joined Grimsby Town, managed by former City boss Russell Slade on loan.

The Canadian international had been at Walsall since the summer of 2016.

Former Coventry City loanee Gary Madine has signed for Cardiff City.

Madine who had two spells at City and one in prison, had been doing well at Bolton Wanderers but has moved to Cardiff in a deal which could be worth up to £6m.
