Moussa - I've Got Twelve Goals

Coventry City midfielder Franck Moussa is claiming that he has scored twelve goals so far this season.

Moussa is claiming that he scored the goal that was credited to Andy Webster in the 2-2 draw with Crawley Town at Sixfields but denies the goal given to him by some media outlets, at Rotherham United in the 3-1 win on New Year's Day.

The Belgian told the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner about the goal against Crawley Town: “Well yeah, because I scored that one.

“I don’t know what Andy’s been told but at the end of the day, I scored that goal. All I know is that the ball came to me, I put it in the net and the ref blew the whistle and that it was a goal. What happened before and after, I’m not sure. That’s all I can say.”

Moussa was not however, claiming the goal against Rotherham United which was awarded to him by some media outlets, whilst others credited Cyrus Christie or had it as an own goal.

Moussa has refused to claim that one and said: “No, I’m not claiming that one at all.

“Somebody has credited me but it wasn’t me. It’s very random but I’ve got 12 goals so far and that’s it.”
