Morrison To Move To Wednesday

Former Coventry City striker Clinton Morrison has been offered a contract by Sheffield Wednesday.

The BBC are reporting the Owls have been in talks with the 31 year old striker over the weekend and that the two sides are close to an agreement.

Morrison left Coventry at the end of June after new manager Aidy Boothroyd failed to renew his expired contract.

If Morrison does sign for Wednesday, he will be the eight new signing for Owls boss Alan Irvine as he rebuilds his side ready to try to regain Championship status following their relegation to League 1 last season.
