As expected, former Coventry City forward Clinton Morrison has been released by Sheffield Wednesday.
Morrison has made 72 appearances for The Owls who will be back in the Championship next season, but had struggled to get into their team behind former City loanee Gary Madine and Nile Ranger and had been on loan at MK Dons and Brentford.
Morrison who joined on a free from City in 2010, is one of six players who have been released by Wednesday boss and former Sky Blue Dave Jones.
