Andy Morrell has set a modern times club record. The striker made his 43rd third appearance for the Sky Blues at Plymouth Argyle coming on with thirteen minutes to go.

This beat Micky Gynn who made 42 substitute appearances.

The third most used sub player in recent times is Peter Ndlovu with forty, Gary McSheffrey comes next with 39 and in fifth place, Patrick Suffo with 29 substitute appearances.
