Joy Seppala from Coventry City's hedge fund owners SISU is to meet Coventry City Council's John Mutton and George Duggins today for further talks regarding the rent issue for City using the Ricoh Arena.

SISU have not made the last two rent payments to the Ricoh Arena and are looking for a rent reduction following relegation to League One.

City currently pay around £1.2m in rent, partly due, it is understood, to the club having the rent reduced to £0.5m as part of "Operation Premiership"

Council Leader John Mutton, a match going City supporter for 57 years told BBC Coventry & Warwickshire last week that the Council would look to provide assistance where they can.

Tim Fisher has already said that until this matter is sorted out, the club will not be able to fill its annual accounts and the transfer embargo on new registrations of players will not lifted.
