Mike Newall,Eric Black and Trevor Francis are three more names of managers doing the rounds of the rumour mill today.

Eric Black would be welcomed back by many City supporters who were disgusted at his dismissal by Mike McGinnity, whilst Francis is known to be mates with Ray Ranson. Sky amongst others have touted the name of Mike Newall

Meanwhile, Iain Dowie, who was sacked after a lengthy meeting on Sunday which left Ray Ranson, clear in his mind that it was time for a new manager, has been linked with the manager's job at Southampton.
