More Miller Time For City

The currently appointed referee for Coventry City's League One fixture against Walsall is Nigel Miller from County Durham.

Miller has been a referee since 1989 and was promoted to the Football League referees list in 2003.

Mr. Miller's last City game was the 3-2 home defeat against Ipswich Town back in February and previous City matches he has been in charge of are the 1-0 defeat at Scunthorpe United in December 2009. He officiated in the 3-0 defeat at Blackpool in August 2009 and the 0-1 home defeat to Plymouth Argyle in November 2008. He was also the man in black in the FA cup 4th round home tie which saw City beat Millwall 2-1. in January 2008.

This season, he has had eighteen games (three in League One) and shown 53 yellows and one red card.

His assistants are Robert Hodges and Edward Smart. The Fourth Official is Sarah Garratt
