Neil Warnock has enquired about a number of players with Gary McSheffrey who is out of contract at the end of the season believed to be one of the players.
Micky Adams said: "Neil Warnock has spoken to me in the past few days but he has inquired about a few of my players rather than one specific player. "But nothing more has come from that."
