Former Coventry City midfielder Gael Bigirimana played his first home European tie for Newcastle United tonight.
Bigirimana, who was back at City's Academy on Saturday watching City U18's beat Wigan, played the whole of Newcastle's 1-0 victory against Atromitos.
Haris Vuckic scored the only goal in the first half.
Former City forward Clive Platt scored for Northampton Town in a 3-1 Capital One Cup Second Round defeat to Wolves.
