The winger who has had two operations on his ankles missed the 0-0 pre-season match at Huddersfield Town yesterday due to a recurrence of his ankle injury.
He is doubtful to make City's four day sojurn to Scotland which starts on Tuesday and sees a friendly at Dunfermline on Wednesday night.
