"I am obviously delighted to receive this award and I think it's testament to the hard work put in by the players, coaching staff and everyone who works for Coventry City," said Dowie to the club website. "It really is a team effort here and everyone has pulled together to try and ensure we are successful. It's obviously very early in the season but we're delighted with the start we've had and hopefully we can build on that in the coming months."
Dennis Wise picked up the League One award.
