Money In Charge At Cambridge

Former Coventry City Academy Boss Richard Money has been appointed the head coach of Cambridge United.

Money, who had applied for the manager's job at Coventry City recently, will deal with first team affairs including team selection at the Conference Club who have moved Jez George to Director Of Football role.

"I've worked in this structure before. It's the right structure. It's the way forward," Money told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire.

"The role of head coach is the right role for someone in my position. I'm very pleased to be here."
