Mixed Night For City Old Boys

It was a mixed night for some former Coventry City players and managers on a night of international football.

Former City player and Manager Gordon Strachan watched his Scotland side win 2-1 in Macedonia but Chris Coleman, who fielded former Sky Blues Craig Bellamy had his Wales team beaten 3-0 by Serbia in Cardiff and Michael O'Neill had his Northern Ireland team which included former City loanee Oliver Norwood, beaten 3-2 in Luxembourg. 

Robbie Keane played for the Republic Of Ireland in a 1-0 defeat in Austria. Keiren Westwood was on the bench.

Former City midfielder Aron Gunnarsson played for Iceland in a 2-1 win over Albania.

Michael Mifsud played for 77 minutes in Malta's 2-1 home defeat to Bulgaria.

Former Coventry City youngster Robert Ogleby played for Wales U21's in a 0-0 draw in Moldova.

There were a good turn out of City supporters who saw England's 0-0 draw against Ukraine in Kiev.
