Mixed Night For City

It was a mixed night for Coventry City as the bottom sides in the Championship table were all in action.

Second from bottom Doncaster Rovers lost 3-0 to Millwall who scored early through loanees Andy Keogh and Harry Kane. Darius Henderson scored in the 58th minute to have some Doncaster fans heading for home. 

Bottom side Portsmouth, who visit the Ricoh Arena on Saturday, beat Birmingham City 4-1. Zigic scored early on for the Blues but Chris McGuire levelled in the 54th with a deflected shot. Birmingham then have David Murphy sent off for a second bookable and David Norris scored on the hour mark. Kelvin Ethutu added a third for Pompey in the 77th minute and Futacs added a fourth late on.

Portsmouth are now a point behind Doncaster and third from bottom City.

Fourth from bottom Bristol City were beaten 2-0 at home by Watford.

Nottingham Forest won 7-3 at Leeds in a game described as "incredible". Gareth McCleary scored four goals and i was the first time Leeds had conceded seven at home.

Peterborough United, who had been dragged towards the bottom of the table, beat Reading 3-1.

Leaders Southampton won 2-0 at Hull to go five points clear at the top of the table whilst West Ham drew 1-1 with  Middlesbrough 

 Elsewhere, Brighton beat Derby 2-0 and Palace beat Barnsley 1-0.
