Mifsud To Miss Out

Former Coventry City striker Michael Mifsud will miss Malta's national team's friendly against the Czech Republic on Friday and a 2010 World Cup qualifier against Sweden on June 10.

The speedy striker, who married long-time girlfriend Masielle last Friday (May 29), is suspended for the Sweden qualifier and coach Dusan Fitzel felt there was no point calling Mifsud for the friendly against the Czechs when he can't play in Gothenburg.
