Former Coventry City forward Michael Mifsud played for Malta in their World Cup qualifier against England at Wembley.
The 35 year old Mifsud, fondly remembered for his goals at Manchester United in the League Cup in 2007 amongst others, came on in the 75th minute of a 2-0 win for England.
Former City youngster Danny Sturridge scored England's first goal in a match which saw former City loanee Jordan Henderson play.
