The Maltese international is out of contract at the end of June and there has been a good bit of interest in him, including a £300,000 bid from Barnsley.
However, agreeing personal terms has been a problem for Mifsud who is on around £8k a week at the Ricoh Arena. Bristol City last year was a case in point and it now looks likely, he will see out his contract at Coventry City.
