"At present, I can only say that I'm considering offers from a host of overseas clubs," Mifsud told Timesofmalta.com.
"I expect to resolve my future in the next few days but I want to stress that there is no truth in reports that I am close to signing for Valletta. My aim is to continue my professional career abroad and there has been no shortage of interest from overseas clubs.
"At this stage of my career, I have no intention of returning to Maltese football."
The 28 year old is a free agent after his contract with Coventry City expired at the end of last season but scored twice in Malta's 2-0 friendly win over Georgia on Wednesday night.
