Last updated : 25 September 2011 By Covsupport News Service

According to The People this morning, Middlesbrough are still trying to take Lukas Jutkiewicz on loan.

After a deal to take the Coventry City forward to Middlesbrough fell through due to a deal for Tony Mowbray to sell Matty Bates to Swansea City not going through, the Middlesbrough boss has been keen on taking him on loan with a view to a permanent deal.

The paper claims Middlesbrough want Jutkiewicz on loan for the rest of the season with a guarantee to pay £1m in June 2012 and that City may have to agree due to their financial plight.
