Middlesbrough And Birmingham In For Jutkiewicz

Last updated : 30 August 2011 By Covsupport News Service

Middlesbrough and Birmingham City are both in for Coventry City striker Luas Jutkiewicz.

Middlesbrough have bid £1m for the Southampton born striker but money for the deal will come only if the North East club can sell Matty Bates to Swansea City for £2m.

Birmingham City wait in the wings if Middlesbrough cannot get a deal done.

The news does not come as a surprise as Jutkiewicz who has scored for City at Palace and Middlesbrough this season is one of a number of players touted allegedly by City's board as a way of getting back some money to pay back SISU's bankers.
