Coming in a week where Premiership managers have refused to shake hands, Micky Adams admits that despite the result he always remains sporting.
Speaking to the CET: the City boss who takes on his home town team tomorrow and is letting Richard Duffy's brother train with the club so that he can find another team next season said: "I have always taken the view that whatever happens out on the pitch and in the technical area, after the game you shake hands and share a drink, whether you like it or not.
"But I don't think you should be too proud to say well done to an opposing manager because you are all in the same game and all want the same things.
"How you get there is down to you but I do believe in the etiquette of shaking hands after the game regardless of who you play against.
"I have had one experience on not shaking hands but I will keep that to myself. It was someone who I didn't particularly admire anyway."
