Micky Adams Confirmed As Port Vale Boss

Port Vale unveiled former Coventry City player and manager Micky Adams at a press conference this morning.

Adams will replace Dean Glover who stepped down on May 2nd and was announced as manager after agreeing personal terms.

Vale Chairman Bill Bratt told his club's website: "Micky is one of the best managers that we could have got, he is hard working, enthusiastic and has great vision. He is the most high profile manager that we have had in the past 30 years and I am sure that he can take us forward. I would like to officially welcome Micky to Port Vale and let him know that everyone is behind him".

"The new manager is keen to get his teeth into the job. He told the official site: "I am delighted to be here, it's a challenge that I am looking forward to and hopefully we can restore the fortunes of this wonderful club".
