According to BBC Radio Humberside, former Coventry City midfielder Gary McSheffrey is to permanently sign for Doncaster Rovers.
McSheffrey is now a free agent after being told that his contract at Scunthorpe United will not be renewed and was at Doncaster for the latter part of the season.
The radio station has tweeted: "Former Scunthorpe Utd winger Gary McSheffrey exclusively reveals to us that he will be joining Doncaster Rovers on a permanent basis. #drfc"
