Coventry City manager Micky Adams has played down the rumours of Gary McSheffrey being sold.
The City boss told the CET before Adams, the players and various club officials boarded a plane at Heathrow bound for America: "We have not had any offers for anyone. I have had a few inquiries but nothing more." When asked about the rumour linking the Coventry born striker to a move to West Brom, Adams replied: "I have not heard that one."
If City were looking to sell McSheffrey, Covsupport understands that they would be looking for a fee around the £4m mark.
