Training on a Sunday morning after a Saturday match is somethng Boothroyd used during his time at Watford and Colchester and speaking to the CT's Alan Poole, McSheffrey said: "None of us have any problem with it - everybody has their own methods and the manager has made it clear the importance he puts on work ethic.
"As he says, the fans pay their money and the least they expect is to see players working hard.
"I think we've given them that in our first two home games - and we've even let them go home top of the league for a couple of hours."
