McSheffrey Link Premature

Coventry City will have to wait for Gary McSheffrey if according to rumours, the Sky Blues are interested in taking the striker back on loan.

The striker sold by Paul Fletcher on behalf's of City's board to Birmingham City for £2.325m in August 2006 is currently under-going treatment for a knee injury at a London clinic and and is expected to be out for twelve weeks.

McSheffrey played for Birmingham in the Premier League last season but had not regularly featured for Alex McLeish's side this season before succumbing to injury.
