Coventry City’s Gary McSheffrey has said that he is enjoying his forward role with Clive Platt and Alex Nimely.

Speaking to Sky Blue Player, McSheffrey, who is keen to keep the goals comng after scoring in City’s last three home league and cup matches said: "Of course I want to keep that going because I want to help give the team the best possible chance of getting out of the position we are in.

"I've enjoyed teaming up with Alex and Clive the past couple of games and getting new faces in like Alex and Hermann (Hreidarsson) can give you a lift because it freshens up the changing room and they want to come here and do well for themselves as well.

"Alex has come here so far and he's shown that he's strong for a smaller lad, he links up well and he releases the ball at the right time which has been good to see and it served us well against Middlesbrough so hopefully we can do the same against Ipswich on Saturday."
