James McPake who is on loan from Coventry City scored for Hibernian in the Scottish Cup Final this afternoon at Hampden Park. But it was a miserable time as his side were beaten 5-1 by cross town rivals Hearts.

McPake played in Pat Fenlon's side which had no place for Roy O'Donovan either in the team or on the bench.

Darren Barr put Hearts ahead in the 15th minute and twlelve minutes later, McPake was not tight enough and allowed Ruud Skacel hit a second for the Tynecastle based club before McPake pulled one back in the 41st minute, sliding in to score from a corner.

In the second half, Danny Grainger extended Hearts lead in the 47th minute with a penalty after Kujabi had been sent off for a shirt tug and two minutes later Ryan McGowan added a fourth with a header.

Some Hibs fans started to leave and they were joined by many others when Skacel hit a fifth with fifteen minutes remaining.
