James McPake has been talking about his move to Coventry which was completed yesterday.

The 24 year old centre half joined City from Livingston and said to the CT: "I am absolutely delighted because at the start of the week the move didn't look as it was going ahead. "I finally got the nod on Friday that the two clubs had agreed and I can't wait to get involved.

"Coventry tried to get me at the start of the transfer window and when it didn't happen I thought I would have to wait until the summer but I was always hoping it was going to happen.

"It was hard and the most difficult bit was going into training knowing that I wanted to be down here and knowing that Coventry wanted me down here as well so I was just hopeful it would happen.

"I had heard about the injury problems at Coventry and that was another reason I was hoping it would happen because I thought there would be a chance of getting into the team. Now a lot of other playersare coming back from injury so I have to get on with trying to force my way into the team."
