Coventry City defender James McPake could be out for two months after dislocating his shoulder on Wednesday night at Dunfermline.

The defender was taken to hospital where his injury sustained in the 86th minute of City's 1-0 defeat was diagnosed a dislocated shoulder.

He is under-going further tests today to see if the shoulder needs to be pinned.

The boy is absolutely devastated," City physio Michael McBride said to the CT.

"He has been doing so well and been playing back to back games to get his fitness up and it is a great shame for the lad.

"He had a procedure to put the shoulder back in on Wednesday night and then went home to his parents and will have further investigations today to see if he needs an operation. It is too early to say how long he will be out."
