Former Coventry City defender David McNamee has signed for Nuneaton Town.
McNamee, has been coaching for a couple of weeks with City's Academy during the pre-season and told the CT:"I've spent the majority of my career playing at right back and that's where I am most natural. I'm a tough tackler, committed, experienced and can add a bit of steel to the squad.
"I like the area and want to finish my career local to her. Nuneaton is a good place to do that.
"I've had offers to play further away but once Nuneaton were interested it was the best move for everyone".
