Coventry City defender David McNamee will get pre-season to prove his fitness.

Since signing from Livingston, the popular Scot spent a lot of time out injured especially with hamstring injuries.

McNamee is now out of contract and has been given a chance to prove his fitness and earn a contract for the new season at Coventry City.

Said Chris Coleman to the CT: "Isaac Osbourne did a good job for us last year in a lot of pressure situations but it is an area are are looking at. "We have got David NcNamee who we will have a look at in pre-season. Ability wise he is not a problem, but we need to know if he is fit enough to play a lot of games for us."
