Coventry City striker Leon McKenzie was a relieved and happy man when he scored in the Sky Blues 2-0 win against Norwich City on Saturday.

It was McKenzie's 100th goal and was well celebrated by the striker who had been stuck on 99 for eleven months.

Part of the goal celebration saw McKenzie remove his shirt to reveal a vest with "100 for my babies" emblazoned on it.

Said McKenzie to the CT: "I only got it couple of days ago. I knew I was going to be on the bench and I thought 'why not - if I get on, who knows what can happen?'

"It was a great feeling, not just because it was against Norwich but because it has been a long time coming and I've been through a lot.

"This was for my family, especially for my wife who is six months pregnant and has been my rock through all this."
