Leon McKenzie who became City's second £1m player signing in recent months has been speaking about the move to City from Norwich City.

The 28 year old from Thornton Heath said to City's official website: "I'm over the moon to be here, it's a great challenge for me and I'm really pleased to be here.

"From what I've seen of the set-up here it looks really good, it's a great stadium and I was quite overwhelmed looking around and it's a pleasure for me to be here.

"The move hasn't been quick, it's taken a bit of time to go through all of the procedures, but you have got to do that. It's been a bit up and down but I'm here now and I'm just glad I've been able to finalise everything.

"As soon as I found out about the interest from Coventry I wanted to pursue that and it's all worked out."

"Micky Adams is a great character and he has a lot of passion, you can see that. And like I said I've come here to do my best and help my new team mates and obviously get the fans going and using my enthusiasm to do what I do.

"I met a few of the lads down the training ground and they seem great so it won't be too much of a problem for me to settle in and I just want to get my head down and give it my all."

No news has been forthcoming as to whether he will be able to play against his former club next Saturday when they visit the Arena.
