McIndoe Fraud Worth £30m

According to The People, the alleged fraud involving former Coventry City player Michael Mcindoe has seen a number of footballers including former City striker Robbie Keane lose up to £30m.

Up to 100 players are said to have been lured by promises of a huge 20%-a-month return but the scheme collapsed with huge debts and police are investigating amid huge debts.

According to the People, one source said: “In all, footballers are thought to have handed over up to £30million to those behind the scheme. But those who were conned are ­determined to do all they can to get their money back.”
