McGoldrick Breaks His Own Record

David McGoldrick broke his own record yesterday when he scored in Coventry City's 4-1 win at Doncaster Rovers.

it was the seventh time that he had scored in successive away matches, beating the record of six that he set at Colchester and one more than Clarrie Bourton's record of five which had stood since the 1930's until McGoldrick joined on loan from Nottingham Forest.

He has scored in the following away games: York City (2 goals), Swindon Town (2 goals), Brentford, Leyton Orient, Hartlepool United, Colchester United, Doncaster Rovers (2 goals) and has a total of seventeen goals for the season with City.
