May 14th And Season Ticket Prices Go Up

Coventry City have, as expected, put back their season ticket deadline.

The season ticket prices had been due to increase after April 30th but with all the upheaval and uncertainty plus supporters waiting for brochures from the club to inform them of the prices before they renew, the deadline has been put back to May 13th.

On May 14, adult Season Tickets in the Standard Zone rise to £299 and then go up to £315 from August 1. Concession prices in that zone move from £189 (£8.22 per match) to £198 on May 14 and then to £208 on August 1.

On the controversial subject of concessionary Season Tickets in the Premium Zone, City will keep the price of £286 for Blocks 19,20 and 21 of the Tescos Stand until July 31.

For children, the Junior Sky Blues under-seven Season Ticket remains free in the Family Zone and £92 (£4 per match) for kids over-seven in that zone with no rises incurred.

Stephen Ebanks, of Coventry City Football Club, said to the club website: "We've moved the deadline back a fortnight to give supporters more time to benefit from the lower price.

"We've had positive feedback on the Season Ticket prices but the renewal forms have only recently been received by many fans and we want them to have at least a month to be able to buy at these prices.

"We're confident that these are among the best prices available in the Championship and we are working very hard to get existing and new Season Ticket holders on board.

"It really is the best way to support the club and get to see the team week in, week out, at the best price. Fans can even pay by direct debit to spread the cost.

"Of course, we will run promotions throughout the season - such as the kids for a quid that we've announced for the Scunthorpe game - but it will always be better value to buy a Season Ticket."

"We are committed to offering the lowest possible prices we can," added Ebanks. "And we are pleased to maintain the free Season Ticket for under-sevens in the Family Zone. "But adult fans will be better off if they renew before May 13 and that is what we would encourage them to do."

You can renew your season ticket or buy one by visiting either the ticket office at the Ricoh Arena or City Central or by calling 0844 873 1883 or via the club website.
