The currently appointed referee for Coventry City's Championship home fixture against Barnsley on Saturday is Lee Mason.
Originating from Bolton and Chairman of the Bolton RA, he was introduced to refereeing by his school teacher and was appointed to the Select Group Referees list in 2006.
Mr Mason has had twenty matches so far this season and has shown sixty yellow cards and five red. His last game was Spurs 4-0 win against Peterborough in the FA Cup last Saturday.
His last City game was the 1-1 draw with Cardiff City at Highfield Road on March 12th 2005.
