The currently appointed referee for Coventry City's League One game against Colchester United on Sunday is Stephen Martin from Staffordshire.
Mr Martin has only refereed one competitive City game before and that was the 2-2 home draw against Colchester United last season.
The only other City game he has refereed was the 1-0 win at Kettering Town in a pre-season friendly in 2011, although he has been on the line for a number of matches.
This season, he has had five games so far and his last was the Capital One Cup tie between Tranmere Rovers and Bolton Wanderers.
