Former Coventry City forward Marlon King has been arrested for another motoring offence.

The Birmingham City player was arrested on Saturday night by City Of London police on suspicion of failing to stop at the scene of an accident.

A source told The Sun: “The guy was hit by a car, possibly a Mercedes, not far from Paddington station. He got a knock to the head but the driver didn’t stop to see if he was OK.  “The police were called pretty quickly.”

A police spokesman said:  “A 33-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of failing to stop at the scene of a road traffic collision and taken to a central London police station.

“He has been bailed pending further inquiries. Detectives from Westminster are investigating.”
