Marlon King has agreed personal terms with Birmingham City.

Sky Sports are reporting that King has agreed personal terms after turning down a new deal at Coventry City.

King has been offered a two year deal and wages worth £15k a week, according to reports by the newly relegated club who will be playing Europa League football thanks to their Carling Cup victory over Arsenal.

There have been rumours that King was swayed by the prospect of the European football rather than the money which was not that much more than City offered him.

Birmingham City are being reported as having their press release about King's signing as ready to go.

Attention has turned to where Andy Thorn can get a twenty goal a season striker to replace King from with the club's limited resources. Thorn has said that he has targets in place but sensibly has refused to offer up any names.
