Marlon - I Don't Want City Relegated

Marlon King has said that he does not want Coventry City to be relegated.

The centre forward scored for Birmingham City in the 1-1 draw with the Sky Blues at Saturday, and told the CT’s Alan Poole: “I don’t want to see Coventry get relegated.

“They are fighting for their lives and you can’t take credit away from what they did today.

"They’d done their homework and they played good football – they put us under pressure and then changed it by bringing on the big man (Clive Platt) who did well for them.

“I enjoyed my season here and whatever was said is done with. Me and Thorny shook hands and I speak to Steve Harrison and all the boys.

“You look at the stadium and the way the supporters have got behind them and I think they’ve got every chance – all the best to them.”
