The Coventry City defender and his testimonial committee which includes the likes Banger Walsh, CCLFC Chairman Dave Singleton and Adam Dent, have confirmed the arrangements for the match at the Ricoh Arena.
Another Committee member Paul Sullivan told the CT: "We are absolutely delighted to be able to confirm that the game with Everton is on.
"We were very keen to get a Premier League team and to get one of the country's top five sides is fantastic for Marcus and for the fans. He's even been telling us that he's scored against them in his career - I am currently checking the record books to see if that is true!
"Everything is now confirmed that the match can go ahead and we are now just sorting out the details of the game such as ticket pricing and sponsorship.
"It's going to be a competitive match because it is at an important stage in both team's pre-season preparations.
