Coventry City defender Marcus Hall has been given compassionate leave after the sudden death of his father Errol.

Errol was well known locally and attended many matches that Marcus and his brother Karl played in.

"We have given Marcus as much time as he needs," said City boss Chris Coleman to the CT.

"It was so out of the blue and it is worse then because sometimes, if someone is ill and you are expecting it, you can prepare yourself.

"Obviously our thoughts are with Marcus and his family and he will be back when he is ready.

"He is over his injury and was due to join back in with training this week.

"He is a popular lad here and it is really bad news for him."

All at Covsupport News Service wish to send their condolences to Marcus, Karl and the rest of Hall family and friends.
