Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray has been talking about the vital role of man-management.

With City's owners wishing for the club to be self sufficient, Mowbray is restricted with his budget and has to rely on his man-mangement skills to get the best out of the players he has available .

Speaking to the Coventry Telegraph at today's press conference, Mowbray said:"You are only as good as your senior pros in the dressing room.

"It's important that you bring in good personalities because otherwise it can become a difficult place for young players.

"You look for good human beings and good people who understand the logic when they're not in the team.

"You try to make all the squad feel involved.

"Man management skills are about either communicating with people well or not."

"Ultimately we are all judged by results, but man management is part of the job. At this moment, I don't feel any dissent in the group but we're winning games, which makes it easier!"
