Coventry City catetaker manager Richard Shaw has said that he would like the job on a full time basis and feels that he has something different to offer.

Shaw, after leaving City, was caretaker manager at Millwall and was their Reserve Team boss for two season,

Speaking to BBC Coventry & Warwickshire, Shaw said:  "It's strange when people say someone's got experience and this and that. I don't buy into that, I think if you're enthusiastic and you know the game, then why not?

"It hasn't got to be someone old who's managed in this division, in my opinion.

"But it's out of my hands, all I can do is put a team together and try get the best performance they can give on Saturday."
