The currently appointed referee for Coventry City's League One game against Peterborough United is Brendan Malone from Wiltshire.
Mr Malone is now in his sixth season on the National List of Referees and ran the line in the 2008 Johnstone’s Paint Trophy Cup Final between MK Dons and Grimsby at Wembley Stadium.
He has not had a City game before but was in charge of a City Reserves game at Watford in 2005 which City lost 2-0.
This season, according to Soccerbase, he has had seventeen matches and shown 39 yellow cards and one reds His last game was Crewe's 1-1 draw with Shrewsbury last Saturday.
