Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray has said that James Maddison has been pencilled in to play for City U21's on Monday.
Maddison has been out with an ankle injury but is expected to play with Tony Mowbray telling the Coventry Telegraph's Alan Poole: James has been back in full training for a few days now and looking very good.
“The Sheffield game might be a bit early – I’m sure he’ll think he’s ready but we’ll see if he comes through the Birmingham game OK. We’ll assess it day by day but there are lots of games over Christmas and we’re not going to take any chances at this stage."
