Coventry City's attendance of 1,789 for the 2-0 win against Colchester United at Sixfields Stadium, yesterday was the lowest since 1928 and the lowest since Coventry joined the Football League in 1919.

The previous lowest attendance was 2,059 for the 2-2 draw against Crystal Palace on February 13th 1928.

The good news is that Coventry are now one of the highest goal scorers in the main European leagues. Austrian 2nd Division side Liefering have scored 26 goals.
